Just a glimpse from the bus of the Dolomites with new snow. There is bend in the road and 2 seconds to get the picture. Could do better if bus would stop!

And here is a photo to give an idea of the forest we have benn orienteering in.

Mixture of conifer esp. Various firs not pines, and broadleaf especially beech...very tall straight stems, can't be windy.

And lastly for today the daftest vehicle which I spotted at the bottom of the chair lift which went up to today's start. Only room for one; more protected than a motorbike I guess.
