Monday and Tuesday

The finish strategically situated by the lake for a dip after very hot running conditions

Tuesday - scheduled event but no bus provided! But weather very wet so people weren't totally upset and we took the opportunity to take in some of the war history. Fighting around Asiago was destructive and seemingly mostly inconclusive. This edifice was constructed in 1938 and remains of the dead from both sides (Italians and AustroHungarians) interred and commemorated with engraved marble plaques.
